embodied break I is comprised of fragments of a grazing horse. They were cast from the parts of a real horse.
The title embodied break I is a reference to the mental pause where the connection between the past and what remains is considered, and also to break, in the sense of defect.
From a distance, the white horse parts look like a field of coordinates. These are a reference to the development and transformation of land, soil, and nature by mankind. Likewise, they represent the fragments that arise during mental processes and cannot be prevented, but can be given further thought or not.
Our environment is shaped by agricultural mass production. Almost no livestock can be seen on the abundant meadows.
It seems to be recharging or disappearing completely.
