Carrara marble, Ø 10 mm, height 6 mm / Under New Management

Giants refer to the industrialization of 30 million year old Carrara marble, which today is crushed and powdered in stone mills into marble dust thousandths of millimeters in size for use in auxiliaries and binders, for example, in the building materials industry, in road construction, in the food industry, or in chemistry.
While identical tablets are manufactured by compression of powder into molds, the solid prehistoric marble cannot be pressed into a singularly uniform shape. On close inspection, one recognizes the unique appearance of each individual pill, carved from unbroken stone in Idar-Oberstein, the city of gems.
